This limoncello liqueur brings with it the flavor and smell of the noblest fruit of the Mediterranean, the lemon that is grown in the citrus groves that extend from the Ionian coast to the slopes of Etna, in Sicily. It is the result of a happy marriage between an infusion of lemon peel, sugar and pure alcohol. In fact, it does not contain any other ingredients and is the height of genuineness in an alcoholic beverage. Its very naturalness can cause deposits to form on the bottom of the glass, or a green collar in the highest part, which generally fade and disappear by shaking the bottle.
