Rosso di Marco is produced with 100% Pignatello grapes, also called Perricone, a traditional red grape variety from western Sicily, which disappeared for many years, which takes its name from the so-called “pignatiddare”, the red soils of the Trapani area so called because they are used in the production of cooking pots and are particularly suited to this variety.
