Nero d'Avola, Perricone, Frappato and Nerello Cappuccio dell'Etna
Quater Vitis Rosso encloses the Sicily of wine in a glass and is a blend of Nero d'Avola, Perricone and Frappato grapes grown on the Pianoro Cuddìa estate, while Nerello Cappuccio is grown on the Cavanera estate at about 680 msl on Etna. It comes from four different harvests and as many vinifications carried out separately to enhance the peculiarities of each individual variety. The refinement of each individual wine takes place in American and French oak barriques, for a maximum period of 10 months. The different types of wood bring boisé notes. The best cuvées that are obtained are assembled to give life to this wine that harmoniously enhances the red fruit scents of Nero d'Avola, the freshness of Frappato, the spicy notes of Nerello Cappuccio and the elegance of Perricone.
